Health and life issues have slowed everything to the creep of a snail sneaking up on a tortoise, but things have begun to kick back into gear!

Trail of Pyres was just released in audiobook… only months behind schedule, and Solineus should be released in the near future, depending on the whims of my voice and Audible’s approval teams. Whispers of Ghosts will take some time, that is one big book to narrate, but I expect to have it out in the next several months, again depending on my voice more than anything else.

The next book will be the Contessa of Mostul Ubar, Working Title only, a standalone novel focusing on the Contessa, who we met in Whispers of Ghosts. The release date is up in the air, as it will be getting shopped with major publishers. So, much will depend upon my patience.

At the same time I am working on the Contessa, I will be starting the Sundering the Crowns Saga, which jumps off after Whispers of Ghosts. This should move pretty swiftly, as the Contessa has forced me to develop a whole of Dark Cloud Dancing (the first book in the Sundering the Crowns) to make certain I don’t fall into some major story conflicts.

I anticipate Sundering the Crowns to be five books, all in the 500-750 page range.

After that? Sundering the Tempest will be another 5 book set, or at least so I anticipate.

A lot of our old friends will be back. Some will die. Some will thrive. And we’ll meet new allies and foes alike, but it’s gonna be one hells of a ride to reach the Conqueror Heaven!
